⚠️ Safety first
- Supervise all sensory play, especially with babies and toddlers who mouth materials.
- Small items like dry rice, beans, acorns, pinecone bits and candy corn are choking hazards for young children.
- Slimes, goops and doughs are play materials, not snacks. Even taste-safe recipes are only non-toxic if mouthed.
- Check each linked recipe's ingredients and safety notes before you start. Ingredients vary from idea to idea.
- Always supervise water play.
- Spices such as cinnamon can sting eyes. Wash hands after play.
